4 Effective (and slightly badass) web video tactics to increase sales
Hi there, lets take a look at the different ways you can use web video to generate more business:
What could be more powerful than video testimonials available for your prospective clients to view? That was the thought at the NetMarketing Breakfast. Basecamp's video testimonials feel less staged than Exact Target's and Information Builders adding to their credibility.
Saks is a great example of how to use video and email to drive e-commerce sales. Dillard's and Neiman Marcus landing pages are not as easy to navigate. View the three accompanying emails and find out how to email video.
Blendtec's "Will it Blend" YouTube video series increased sales by 500% taking them to approx 40 million in 2007. Blendtec a 30yr old company, is a perfect example of how to adapt to New Media. 57% of web video viewers watch funny clips, keep it below 5mins.
Offer your video link to blogs, there are 80million all looking for content. Blogs are connected, it will get spread around and rated on digg. Whether you're a restaurant showing your new recipe, selling real estate, a how to newsletter, beads or a suit , there's a blog for you.
The new online ad model is simple - If you want to engage with today’s savvy consumers you will have to start turning your ads into compelling content. Prospects will tolerate your subtle sales pitch if you entertain them, if you don't someone else will.
Enjoy and email me your video links!
